1.02 pm: Juventus midfielder Paulo Dybala is set to undergo ankle surgery and will miss the start of the Serie A season.
Dybala had been ruled out of the first leg of the Champions League tie with AC Milan on Sunday, after suffering a knee injury in the opening minute of the encounter.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Bianconeri from AS Roma for €13m in the summer of 2016, has been on the sidelines since suffering the injury.
Dysbala has not played since the 2-0 win over Genoa in the first round of the competition last season.
Juventus, who are currently in fifth place in Serie A, have also been linked with a move for Inter Milan defender Daniel Passarella, who is set for a €12m switch from St Mary’s.
